DT Pools started in 2014 the way most good small businesses do — somebody’s neighbor needed help, the help was good, and word crossed the street faster than we expected. Ten-plus years later it’s still the two of us: Tyson on the weekly route, Devin on repairs.
We grew up here in the East Valley. The pools we service are in the same neighborhoods where we learned to swim, behind houses like the ones we grew up in. When a monsoon dumps half the desert into your deep end, ours got hit by the same storm.
We’re not trying to become a fleet of wrapped trucks. The plan is simpler: one tight route through South Tempe and west Mesa, kept close enough that everything gets done by an owner, every week, for a long time — and grown a street at a time, mostly by referral.
Who shows up
DT is literally Devin and Tyson. Between the two of us we’ve been working Arizona pools for over a decade — and we live a few minutes from the pools we service. You’re not just another pool to us; you’re the one between two others we already take care of.

Handles repairs & equipment
Pumps, filters, valves, plumbing. Devin will tell you when a $40 seal fixes it and when you’re better off replacing — and since he has no commission and no quota, you can take the advice at face value.
How we work
Not “owner-supervised.” The person testing your water owns the company and lives nearby. That changes how careful the work is, because every pool on this route is also our reputation on this route.
Half of repair work is knowing when not to sell one. A $40 seal that buys your pump two more years is a better outcome for everyone than a new motor you didn’t need — you keep your money, we keep your trust.
We could hire a crew of techs tomorrow. We’ve watched what that does to quality at other companies — the owner becomes a dispatcher and the pools become tickets. So we grow at the pace good work allows, never past the point where an owner does every visit.
Gate latched the way we found it, equipment pad tidier than we found it, dog still in the yard. Small things, every week, forever. That’s the job.
